Replacing Side Mirror Motor?

When I remove the mirror motor I can't see the plug of the wiring harness end.
What else do i need to do to access that?

I am not sure I understand - could you furnish a picture of what you mean?
There are two sets of connectors - one is buried in back of the mirror.
Here's the small connector:
