Carl,
I am sure you use the same rebuilder as the rest of us. If you have a known good core that has not been rebuilt then that is fine.
The problems start when you rebuild a rebuild and so on. The interferance fits are compromised. That is why we stopped selling them.
Once a core is received it is near impossible to know if it has already been rebuilt or not.

Just for the record Lasso is OEM to Porsche for nearly every Porsche pump apart from the 928. Your statement is SORT of correct.
Good luck,
Roger

Thanks to all for the fantastic response. I am once again fully stocked with cores for our various parts. Thank you.

Not buying any more cores at this time. But call if you have something you want to get rid of - I'll listen.

Default Intermediate Plates from Twin-Disk clutches

Looking now for bad intermediate plates from twin-disk clutches; pinned type only (1981-1986)

Anybody have their old intermediate plate collecting rust in the corner of the garage?

I'll pay $40 cash or give a $55 in-store credit for it. It just has to be all-there, and have a good ring gear on it. The friction surface can be scared and warped - no problem. I pay for shipping but the shipping has to be postal - cheapest way.

Contact me BEFORE you send your in.

I'm at carl@928motorsports.com

Thank you!

No takers? Still looking for used dual-disk clutch intermediate plates....

Check your parts pile in your garage - you might have money sitting there rusting! :-)

can use the TBF block for a coffee table if it is not cracked through.
Wouldn't it be more appropriate for a bar table - considering the various different liquids and amounts thereof having being consumed by that motor!

+1 Nice.

I've made a set of end tables from my old CCW wheels that i cant use anymore, and I'm going to make bar stools or floor lamps out of our drums of race fuel (below)

Perhaps they should be used for "bar stock" but they are going to be converted into coffee tables....

Front please, but I should also collect some rears while I am at it.

Say, $150 cash for the pair of good used rear 1986.5-1995 rear calipers or $200 in-store credit??

Does anybody have an early (1978-1986) used throw-out bearing?

We send them in to be rebuilt because they are NLA from Porsche.

I'd love to get a couple rebuilt and on the shelf so I could do an advance-exchange for customers.

Don, I realize this is an old post, first I had seen it; what happended to the Chinese pump? Would anybody join me in buying the Chinese pump and destroying it just to keep it out of the parts inventory? I don't mean to single them out for disabuse, but knowing what we know about other pumps not being dependable, adding another product of unknown worth to the mix is sort of like keeping the island snake free.
