Have to Agree with TV -> Aside from the macho factor of driving a stick, an old drag racer once told me 'Son, you cannot outshift an automatic.. get yer-self a 2 speed pwrglid.. (gotta say it like you have a big ole wad of Chaw in the cheek..)'
Great choice for a drag racer, especially a bracket racer where it isn't the fastest, its the closest to the preset time, the AT is very consistent, just not fun to drive in normal street driving.

Very nice looking car...wouldn't have a black car in TX, but if I lived some place cooler that would be a good one to have!

The next best car to a 5 speed Euro S2 is the Euro S2 with a 4 speed Auto which is properly adjusted. I enjoy my 1985 Euro model, and it makes me very happy knowing that I will not be doing the dreaded job of pulling the trans, TT, and clutch for a synchro rebuild or clutch job . No reason to shun this car because it has an auto transmission... it is a great buying opportunity.
