16V Cylinder Head Flow Bench numbers
Searched all the ways to word what I'm looking for in the archives to no avail.
Anyone have real-world flow-bench numbers for 16V heads? |
Search for posts from Greg Grey .... he's done lots of flow bench stuff on 16V and I remember him referring to flow bench numbers for heads he'd worked on. I'm not sure if he's posted numbers for unmodified heads, but his posts would be the best bet to start with. Haven't seen him posting for a while but you could also try sending him a PM.

Thank you, will do.

Greg Brown also has a flow bench and I bet he can give you the numbers off the top of his head.

The heads aren't that different, you could also look at some 2v 944 flow numbers, keeping in mind valve size.

I'm hunting down a local place to have my ported heads flow benched. They're US 4.5L spec, with stock valve sizes. I'll use Greg's base numbers for comparison purposes.

From memory the euro heads flow about 212CFM and the USA heads are a bit less...say 180cfm

I agree with IcemanG17 those # sound right . I had a set of heads with 944 valves / fully ported and they flowed 280 on the intake at .500 lift . I was using .515 lift cams
