Default Bridgestone 245/45-R16 Back In Production

The Bridgestone reps were at the Palooza over this past weekend spreading the rumor that the Protenza will be available in the 928's rear stock size late next spring or early summer. The fronts are currently available.

Potenza? That is good news. Hopefully the price will be right. I paid $85 each for my 245/50-R16 Toyo Proxes 4 I have on the rear now. I like the look of the 245/45-R16 much better. My front Toyos are about worn out due to a prior alignment issue while the rears look new. I could replace the fronts with the Bridgestones with the rears to follow later. Gunar

Default Bridgestone RE11 245/45 R16's

I just got an email from Bridgestone. The tires coming out are the Bridgestone Potenza RE-11's. Looks like 5 to 6 weeks wait right now. I responded that I would like to purchase the from TireRack.com. We'll see how that goes.

Mr. Davidson,
Good afternoon…regarding your inquiry for a set of 245/45r16 Potenza RE11’s; they are manufactured in Japan and expected to arrive stateside in approx. 4 weeks.
You may expect retail availability in approx. 5 – 6 wks.
My wish is we could’ve provided a more timely solution to your need..accept my apologies on behalf of Bridgestone for not being able to do so.
With whom would you be conducting your tire purchase, so that we might expedite them?
Kindest Regards,
Area Sales Manager - MS, LA, TX and So. AL.

You won't find them. They are in my garage. And you don't know where I live.

Just put my D90's in the corner and moved to 18" wheels...

Looks like they missed me as a customer by just a couple months.
