85 TwinScrew Euro for Sale

9 Attachment(s)
My youngest daughter has been engaged for several months, but has recently decided that she wants the wedding in February, before she goes to Med School, instead of a year from now. That said, I need to generate more money for the wedding sooner than previously planned. So I relunctantly have put the '85 16V Euro S up for sale. This is the same one that was featured on the Japanese Speed Channel, the YouTube segment from the Texas Mile I posted earlier this month.

This was Dave Robert's Euro, also featured on his web site.

I'm asking $17,500 for the car.

It's a great car, Runs very strong without any issues. I was planning to taking it back to the Texas Mile this year for another attempt at the world record (it currently holds the track record for its class and make), but that's not going to happen anymore. With the 5 lb. pulley its very streetable, and its very easy to swap out to the 8 lb. pulley for track events.

Email me with any questions and I have lots of pictures if you want more.

Goin' way back, this was the car that I oogled and inspired me buy my first 928.

Obviously, It has changed over the years, but it has always represented 928 performance in a one of Stuttgart's best configurations - the 16V LH EuroS.

As far as I see it, this car is a classic, and I hope it finds a good home.

GLWS! :)

That's a lot of car for the money! I assume it's well sorted given the ownership pedigree. If one wanted to take it back in the direction of stock, you could even sell off items like the roll bar & fire extinguisher to reduce your initial cost. I have a set of black 12-way power "comfort" seats sitting in my guest room, so I'd put those in and sell off the MOMO seats, too. Not that I've given this much thought... ;)

I wonder what became of the 19" Kinesis (?) rims that DR had on it? Those really made the car, IMHO.

Is this her? Talked to her at SITM a few years ago, I think she had a good time there.

That car has served as inspiration to a lot of us over the years. Hope it finds a good owner.

This car is a work of art! I have worked out a deal with Ed and she will be in my driveway next week! Looks like it will be a great 928 Christmas!
