It's a repurposed steel sign post that's 3/8" thick & 24" in diameter. We will have to come up with some counterweights so my wife can open it ! T

Not to get off topic, but I'm thinking the fire box is too small, and the connector between the too chambers is too restrictive. Love the shape though.

Peachy is looking awesome. Can't wait to see it in person.

EDIT: After reading through the off topic thread, I see where you are going, low, even heat. Very cool design!

The shifter looks like it sticks up quite a bit. Is there a way to lower it so it looks more stock?

Steve, Will checkout shifter height when seats are in. As it stands now, it appears shorter than the stock unit. Can always cut the shaft down a bit if needed. T
