sorry hit reply by accident...

Recently I adjusted my throttle cable from the firewall and tightened it this way, I had to unscrew it pretty darn far but I was getting idle click. Now today after driving all day I tested for idle click and nothing. So I pretty much need to screw in the throttle adjustor at the firewall a bit and test to make sure I hear a click after the car is all warmed up.

The question, does the idle click and WOT have anything to do with each other...? If I dont get the idle click does it diminish performance...?

I need to dive into this throttle cabling and get it tuned right as there are no good mechs I can find in Miami, so just like my injector refresh and power window motor replacement it is up to me to figure it out...

One thing I did not do last time was adjust the throttle cable play at the cable junction, I only did it at the firewall...this time I will do both and maybe get the idle click fixed and WOT...and feel a nice difference...

I am reading other threads like:

So I think I am good for now...just curious as to what the relationship is of the idle click and WOT...

thanks...
