Default Gasket for Strainer?

Hey Guys / Gals,

Have a fuel leak from my gas tank.
Turns out that it is leaking from the in-tank fuel strainer. The brownish o-ring that seals the strainer to the tank is crumbling like coffee cake.

I searched a couple of the vendors but did not find the o-ring listed. Just curious if ya'll know if the part exists or if there is a suitable replacement for it?

Cheers

Roger Mark or Dr. should have them.
If you have the in-tank pump, don't be fooled by it leaking at the wire terminals.
Roger should also have the upgraded piece as well.

Thanx Brad,

I will wait for one of them to chime in.

My fuelpump is external.

Cheers

Pump is external -
Or are you saying it uses the same o-ring as the strainer does?

Looking for the PN for the sealing ring on the fuel strainer.

I have it out already and its crumbled to pieces.

Thanx!

Mine has the external pump but also had a in-tank pump.
If you have wires going to it then you have a in-tank pump as well as a external pump.
It would have these terminals and as you can see, mine came loose and fooled me 3 times. Shame on me

Bernie-

Yep, I meant to amend the above post. Both the in tank fuel pump and the in-tank strainer use the same sealing gasket, with the above part #:

Plenty of gaskets at $5.81 each - Porsche is very proud of them
