1980 Triumph Spitfire... Bought in 1982, driven my Senior year of HS, all through college and then a fun weekend car after I started working and got a company car. Sold 2 years after I broke my back (and could no longer drive it) in 1992... Paid $4500 and sold it for $2500... DAMN IT! Hurts me to even type that!

I'll spare you the long list, but here's the 2 atop the list:

'72 911T converted to full RS specs, which I built from the tub-up.

'93 FD twin turbo RX7...street-ported 13B w/430 rwhp.

I should have NEVER EVER SOLD MY 93 GTS 5spd w/out run strips.

Now I am back in the market for one.

I know, I know good luck to me.

I get the bone head award for the decade for selling it.

Por Favor: if you know of, or planning on selling your 5spd GTS please keep in mind of a fellow RennLister missing his first true luv ( in the automotive realm ).....

a 93~95 GTS 5spd.

Thank you
Steve

Default SNARLY LITTLE CAR

My regret is I sold my '79 MAZDA RX-7. Not in the same class as my '83 928euro-S, but still a really nice responsive car for only 1300cc. '79 was the first model year for RX-7s and it was a blast to drive. Polar White, Red leather interior, sun roof, Mag wheels, 5sp trans, AM/FM tape deck. It was not my first Rotary engine car, Before that I had 2 RX-3 5 speed coupes shaped like a 3/4 size '66 Mustang fastback. I wish I still had both the RX-3 AND RX-7. Light, snarly little cars. RRRAAAAaaaaaaaaaaa!

RX-7 GSL-SE. Beautifully balanced car. Supremely trustworthy in tail-out cornering. Could maybe have used some more power, but the chassis and drive train were perfectly tuned to the motor as it came from the factory.

When I was in High School, I had a 1976 Datsun 280Z. I painted black and silver, front air dam, rear spoiler, lowering springs, etc. It was cool and I would like to have it back. 2nd place would be a 1966 Chevelle SS 396 that I had when I was in my 20s

My Fiat Coupe 20VT Plus, 6 speed maunual, modified to 350hp (larger turbo, boost controller, remapped ECU, FMIC, custom intake, custom exhaust from the turbo back, including race catalytic converter). I owned it from new, but had to sell it when relocating to the US.

Stereo install (Infinity Kappa 6.5" fronts, tweeters on the dash, 6.5" rears with two 10" subs, Alpine CDA7998 head unit). Black leather Recaros with red stitching, Pininfarina designed interior.

Sublime acceleration, nice handling. Less than 6k miles per set of front tyres, but lots of smiles . It made me want to go to work to drive it.

That's the car a guy in Europe took the headlights out of and grafted then into a 928... Actually turned out nice IMO. Been thinking about doing one of my 928's that way since I have a couple fenders that need repaired anyway. Nice looking car sir.

My 81 Delorean. Alright I agree the car had some flaws, but I still think I should of kept it a bit longer. after 3 years tweaking it was in awesome condition, but I just was frustrated. Sold it too quick.
