I can honestly say I'm not too fond of the taillights.

The brake pads are the same as some Subaru and for some strange reason the front bumper cover is fiberglass so it gets rock chips very easily. The driving experience can make you forget about most of the short comings and those ball cup challenge wheels are the ****s

As I do my research, the 612 Scaglietti is really growing on me... It is a real GT, built soundly on the same principals as the 928!

A Tour de Force in a beautiful body.

The gearbox seems to be the source of most problems and after 2007 the F1 boxes and their internal clutches are much better. The ball cup wheels demand that you have the carbon ceramic brake package for cleanliness, and the HGTC gearbox, exhaust and suspension options give the car multiple personalities.

Have to say that the 599 is appealing, but that one seems to be in your face all the time.

This 2007 has about the right balance with the color flare hidden on the inside of a rather plain wrapper... What thinks you?

What could be cooler than an invisible supercar?

Ferraris never captured my imagination, especially any newer than 2000, but with one exception, the FF. Now I can get on board with that grocery getter!

From that angle it looks somewhat like a BMW Z3 M Coupe.

Err.... well okay so my next car wasn't a C190 AMG GTS but we just bought a 2011 Mercedes GL450 since we ran out of room in the w163 chassis ML350 we have hauling 2 kids and our weekly Costco runs...

But that air suspension.... wow.

My wife and I are picking this up Saturday to add to the collection. The noise this thing makes is truly amazing.

Default Through Mark Anderson I learned...

How special and rare the MB R230 AMG's are with the P030 option (Nurnburg ring suspension, brakes + more) and having a copy of the SDS (MB dealers Star Diagnostics System) makes it all affordable and enjoyable for a DIY owner that has had the pleasure of owning a 928 GTS for more than 15 years.

Thank You Mark for pointing that out to me.

This thing is still trying to get me to buy it, instead of another 928

Hrmmph! Fraternizing with the enemy would have gotten you hung not long ago. Would you trust that thing in the garage at night with your 928? You'll end up with little Lancias running around drinking all your wine...
