I'm on my third one and yes you better have a warranty. I just bought a 5 year 60k mile warranty for about 3k. Don't you wish you could get that for your 928?

My kids are already fighting over the 87 bit I plan on being buried in it . My E430 has 150K on it and when it wears out, i think I'll get the Mazda diesel that will be out in a year or so.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Merce...=140668644668r MB CL 65 AMG. That's 620h.p. and park assist (for the wife) for only $ 47,987. Car listed for $ 189,000 new. That's an incredible price for a 5-6 year young supercar that can hold 4 adults. 77Tony

Carmax had an '05 CL-65 for sale this summer for about $38K. I seriously considered buying it instead of the Maserati. The car is a beast. With all that power though, the 0-60 is only 4.4 seconds as it weighs well north of 4000lbs. Also, the car's massive two piece rotors go for ~$1K each with no aftermarket option currently (at least not that I could find).
I think a same year CL600 is a better buy. About 100 less HP and TQ (I don't remember the exact numbers), but it can be chipped to CL65 levels. Prices seem to be running $10-15K less than a CL-65. Brake rotors are the standard CL class rotors with lots of options (also used on the CL55). The CL600 doesn't come with the AMG seats though, which is a nice option.
They are both awesome cars.

I've driven both the 55 ( supercharged) and 600-65 ( twin turbo) and prefer the 55 motor. The throttle response is much better and I didn't like the added weight on the front end from the V12.

ZL1 580-horsepower, 556 lb.-ft. of torque
Looks like they even offer an automatic.

I still haven't found a car I would like to have more than a 996+TT or a C6Z. Both can be had under $50k.

My next car after I finish my 928 euro hybrid will be heading back to the 924 turbo. Never was able to finish my last one and want to do an all black Carrera GT conversion on it.

650hp and around 3850lbs might be 300 less then the Camaro, carbon fiber driveshaft too in the Mustang!
See alot of new Camaros on the road to each his own on what one likes in looks.
I like the looks of the Camaro,Mustang and Challenger.
Everyone has some version of the Camaro, how many models of 911's are there?
The Mustang is still a good looking car.
New 2013 GT500 or used 996TT,I'd take the Mustang
US automakers are upping the horsepower and its about time!
The 2013 Nissan GTR is very heavy also but is within .1 of the 997TTS
The GTR hasn't been around that long as its running some great times with mods one has just went into the high 8's in 1/4 mile and many in the low 9's
You're going to need a 2010 and up ZR1 to run faster at Nurburgring as the
2009 ZR1 7:41.50
2012 ZL1 is 7:41.27
Even the 2010 997TT Porsche Turbo and Turbo S in 2010 were around 7:39 to 7:41
2009 997TT was around 7:49
ZL1 for being heavy runs some good times.
