Colorado, pretty mountains, close to skiing. Check.
Machine shop, almost as big as main house. Check.
No grass to interfere with regular use of machine shop. Check.
Wife in main house, Jerry in machine shop. Check.
Looks like Jerry's got life by the short hairs, if you ask me.

I built this house and shop myself with only a little input from some subs. I did most of it and it took me 5 years, and of course, there are still those few things that are not exactly "finished." Actually, although my wife would like some kind of lanscape, grass has never been in the plan and that is consistent with most of the rest of the neighborhood.
For those who think cutting grass is somehow creative and productive, I have been avoiding it for about 10 years or more since the house and shop where completed or at least since the CO was issued. I don't cut grass and I don't do much house mainternance, because I built it to be maintenance free, at least to a great extent.
Sorry, Lee, for all of this crap on your very nice Welcome Thread. Randy V and Mike Smard, I wont forget your guys very soon.

I'd take that set up in a heartbeat. I do not like mowing.
As for this thread being de-railed, hell, what a proper way for someone to get to know R-list. We can't stay on topic in any thread, why should this be different.

If all we talked about was cars this place would be a bore.

Just so you know, I didn't miss the point about the lack of grass to mow in my yard. I saw the point as being that when I chose personally to post my address, any one of you guys or anyone else can find a picture of my place and somehow invade my privacy or whartever, so what is the big deal with some vendor I am doing business with causing me dismay by publishing information about me and our transaction.
Greg got the point of my previous post about that and suggested that Lee knew in advance about it and that appeared to be confirmed by Lee. Enough said. I have the information about me in my avatar because I put it there and not because some vendor put it there. That is the big difference and that is what would cause me dismay. Actually, I am flattered that a couple of you have seen fit to find my location from a satalite and be critical of my lack of grass.

Jerry, I did not suggest that he knew in advance, I said that he did.

You argue a lot like my wife does. Did you say he knew or only suggest that he knew. Show us where you said he knew. It does not exist. That is WTF this is about. You publish this stuff that is not true and then it is suddeenly my fault for saying it like it is??? Why don't you just let it go???

Someone's avatar on this august forum suggests that one cannot win an argument with a certain level of intelligence. I am beginning to suspect that is going to apply in this case.
I give up.

You said I had a valid point if he didn't know. We didn't actually know that he knew until he confirned it.

Jerry, my question is why would you want to enter an upbeat welcoming thread with a negative jab towards Greg? We ALL welcome new members. Hell, you probably scared Lee off by now. Sometimes this site could use a little more humility.
