There is a write-up around somewhere. Basically, you will have to:
- remove the inside liner (push up, wrestle loose and take it off)
- remove fastening screws to the sun roof (some are there for alignment, don't take thse out, some are there to hold the sunroof)
- take the old piping off
- install the new piping from the front to the rear, allow for a bit of overlap then mate the ends, the piping will shrink some
- clean the sunroof area
- clean the drain holes (two in front corners, two in the rear corners), a weed wacker thread works nicely
- take out the sunroof sliding elements, clean and lubricate with (white) grease
- assemble everything
- help the sunroof close with your hand from below, the piping will prevent the rear of the sunroof coming up to close
- leave the sunroof closed for a few days to help set the piping
Done!
Btw, careful when removing and installing the sunroof, you don't want to scratch the paint against the roof.
