Need help with shifter selector
We can't figure out where this piece goes. I know it does something with selecting the gears on the center counsel but cannot for the life of me figure out where it goes. Also I took another picture of a motor but cannot figure out where this goes either. I'm thinking it goes to the glove box some how? Let me know your thoughts. A picture would really help!
Thanks

I'm not familiar enough with the auto shift to positively identify the bracket.
The motor goes behind the hole in the dash that you can see in your photo. It pulls cabin air over the interior temp sensor - part of the HVAC temp control string.

It must not be that important of a piece.
Wally has the interior temp sensor fan already explained.
Who did the pieces? Rob Budd, or Paul?
They look awesome!

That is the locking lever for the metal plate thats broken off from the plastic gear indicator plate. The lever is rivited to the metal plate, and holds the plastic selector piece down. There should be 2 of them.

Yep, hang on.
I've had to rivet a pair back on.
Actually, used some kind of screws, maybe rotor mounting screws?, and ground them partially off.
It worked!

The two arms are currently in the open position - they swing over 1/4 turn counterclockwise to move the hooks into position to lock the selector plate to the underside of the console opening.
