Maybe on wet pavement or around a corner on a slick road.

Stephen,
I bet yours hauls ARSS for sure!!!!

All I could ever muster out of the SilverBulit was a little wheel spin on wet roads. Wish I would have put the Euro 4.7 in it!!

Chuck

It's not to late, euro motor or a hybtid, SC, turbo, NOS etc. To many choices!

I have a feeling that yours is a lot nicer though. My to do list is long and will probably just get longer. She runs well and is presentable so for now that will have to do!

If I wasn't such a mechanical idiot or scardy cat she would be better off!

Mine will go sideways easily.....Plenty fast for me. My DD has 302 HP and it the delivery is very similar to my 928. Maybe it's the lower seating position or the sound but the push into the seat is very close IMHO.

Stephen,

Originally I had plans for a hybrid like "checkmate" has. I'm sure his car is a beast!

I followed your posts on your cams (think you got them from dennis if I remember correctly??) and exhaust and it looks like you got some REALLY GOOD gains from them!!

Had a lot of plans, but not a lot of time. Unfortunatley, the SilverBulit is just sitting in storage right now about a mile from my house. I really just need to put a battery in her and get her running again. Really miss the light and nimble feeling of the earlier cars for sure!! She always lacked power though. I'm sure she can use injectors, a new fuel distributor, ritchen up the mixture and give her more advance and she'd be pretty perky!!

Sweet, sounds like yours runs good as it is!!

The SilverBulit wasnt that fast in a straight line, but w DR front swaybar and Ott links on the back, she went through the corners pretty good!

Chuck

I love that picture!

Suspension mods are in my future. Mine is lower than stock. The PO raced her at Sebring all the time. I think the coils may have been cut. I need someone who know the difference to take a look at her.

Would you suggest the sway bar and links for a street car like mine. If you give me a thumbs up its going on the list!

I know it is kinda crazy but in my mind I would love a high compression 4.5L with killer heads, a set of Mike Simards custom cams and his ITB's. It wouldn't break any HP records but would be the bees knees in my book!

I have 31 year old shocks and stock springs and the car handles pretty good.
I'm sure my shocks are shot even though they only have 65K on them.
I think just a new set of bilsteins with the stock springs would completely tighten the car up!

But yes, just the swaybar up front and rear drop links DRAMATICALLY flattened the car out!
