Default ID this pipe (and other pictures)

More under-side disassembly and poking around this afternoon. Going to try and track down what the correct fasteners are for the undertray and belly pan, as there were five different types of bolt and one thing that looked worryingly like a wood screw holding them on. And a lot of empty holes. On the plus side, the pans are completely clean. No oil or other messiness on the engine side, just minor road crud on the underside.

Anyway, was having a good look at the exhaust since that needs to come out for the flex plate check (not keen on cutting the bolts). On the right hand side, there seems to be a rusted-out pipe that touches the join between the manifold and the pipe to the cats. Just behind the knuckle of my thumb (pulling it away slightly from the joint), then heading forwards. There's an identically rusted pipe on the left hand side that's not as easy to photograph. Both disappear somewhere unknown. Any ideas on what they are, and whether they should be connected to anything?

In other photos ... There's a tiny bead of fluid on the power steering pressure line connector (I think) to the steering gear. Wiped it off and will see if it reappears.

Finally, why I'm going to find some yellow-and-black "no lift" tape and give any workshop touching the car (as a car more than 6 years old, it needs to have 6-monthly safety checks) a guide as to how to properly lift it. There's a three other dents at the corresponding locations where someone might naively lift the car by the "frame rails" using a workshop lift.

the rusted pipes on the manifold are for taking exhaust samples, they run up top to the sides of the intake and the small pipes usually have blue caps on them these can be removed,
then under the car remove the cap nut that holds the remaining rusted out pipe then insert a ball bearing or a small bolt and put the cap back on,
For the leaking hose , two options.
Preferrable remove the banjo and put in new sealing washers.
OR take a chance and tighten it 1/8 of a turn.
Warning if this bolt is overtightened it can stretch to failure.

I always thought it odd that the lift points on the car are not used for jacking,
BUT you have to get down low to see them thats why the frame supports usually get used a jacking pad sticker might be a good idea

Excellent, thank you! I couldn't find any place that had either a hole or a remaining bit of pipe. Does the capped off pipe from the manifold below the link in the power steering line look to be where it would have come from? I'm thinking someone might have already disconnected it but just left it to hang.

Also, do you know where this is in the WSM? Trying to improve my strike rate for finding things
