Sounds like a great car Ash!! Like others have said, fixing the little things that need fixing are what a relationship with your 928 are built on. I am still taking care of all the little things that mine needs and having a ball doing it!! I think that your's has already shown that she is willing to do her part in the relationship by getting you home before giving up the ghost...now go spend time with that mistress and enjoy!!

Hi Ash,
Welcome to the tank. Good looking car. My latest is an 86.5 blacn/tan so I love the color combo. The chrome wheels look nice also. My experience was scary too. I bought it on ebay and drove to Cleveland Ohio from NC to pick it up. Waited 4 hours for them to get it ready. What could take 4 hours on a 37k mile car? Well on the drive home, I discovered what they didn't bother to tell me. The windows would not go down, the sunroof didn't work and neither did the radio. Well I did the same as you. I didn't know the car so I kept the speed down. It viberated over 65 and heated up going up the mountains while cooling down going down. I got lucky and it turned out to be just simple electrics and wheel balancing. My motto is to do the maintenance before it is needed. Read up on this list and these guys will have that baby of yours as reliable as a swiss watch. I put 370k miles on my old 83s and it still ran great. I believe there is one guy here on the list that put 500k miles on a shark. It is all in the maintenance.
Best of luck, maybe we will meet in the middle of the country some day at an event,
