Pictorial Article on Brumos Museum In Panorama, incl. 928
For those that are PCA members, you may have seen the special treat in this month's Panorama magazine. There is an extensive article on the Brumos Porsche private museum with many pictures included. I've been fortunate to tour the museum twice in recent years and it truly is an amazing collection of Porsche cars & memorabilia, and other cars too from Bob Snodgrass's former collection. I think this has to be the first time they've allowed any photo's public of it. When you're there, camera's are a big no no. There are more pics online at the PCA web site that didn't make the article.
And even more of a treat in the article is they have a very nice pic of the bright red IMSA 928 S4 emergency medical response car. Up close it looks brand new. They also have another shark there too, I think a white '84 IIRC. If I still had my flat bed scanner hooked up, I'd post the pic of the IMSA Shark from Panorama, but I use a high speed feed model now. Only way I could do so would be to tear out the page to feed it, or get my flat bed out of storage. Perhaps someone can scan it for all to see it.
Is the red IMSA 928 a sister car to the Holbert car? . I thought the Holbert car was drafted into duty as the IMSA safety car (painted white)?..before "disappearing"..and then being re-found my Mark K..
Perhaps the Brumos IMSA 928 is a sister car to Kibort's. Not certain, but it'd make sense. I always assumed it was. Think its an '88, maybe an '87. Its just as it was back in the day too, including equipment inside the car and all.
There wasn't a pic of the white 928 in the article. Its fairly basic, very good condition, think it has a tan interior & mileage was maybe in the 70s I think. Believe it was owned by Bob Snodgrass. The Porsches in the museum are awesome of course. But the non Porsches & other items are incredible too. They have a great collection of race posters, die cast, etc. There are even a couple of Indy cars hanging on the walls, which is something to see in itself!

Here is a shot of the IMSA 928 in the museum with its signature boards behind it. This car is still in the Brumos collection as of January 2019. What has changed is the ownership of Brumos and the dealership is now Porsche of Jacksonville. The collection is its own entity. I have chatted with the manager of the collection and he expects it to open again... Location and opening date is undefined.

I'd like to know more about this car. I've read the basics in a few places.. commissioned by Bon Snodgrass to run 1984 Daytona. Anyone know the VIN? When did it arrive at Brumos? Was it really a "Brumos Effort? Who is "Style Auto" ? they seemed to get the most square inches of livery. Interesting it remains visually intact at the warehouse except for that Brumos windshield banner.

To make it short, the Trigema was modified to race at Daytona and was recently restored into its original configuration.
This car was on display during the Euro 928 2017, and yes, I do know the VIN
It is a Euro 1982 928S.
