I am late to the party so sorry this is late.
For that fuel line connection..... You can get brake line adapters to go from metric to standard steel line.
You can also get free rental of flare kits from any box auto store. This will allow a good reliable connection.
You can also use a bubble flair as a lip for the rubber hose to grab on and increase sealing capacity.

Hi Folks
Yesterday was a very happy day for me. Finally I drove the car after 6 years of hard working.
The smog (air pump) bearing is very noisy and many other adjustments are necessary, but I'm so happy.
This is the Youtube link. We are talking in Portuguese, sorry!
Thank you guys for the help!

Dave928S, Orantes and G8RB8, Thank you very much for the support!
I'll keep the air pump as a idler, once it was deleted somewhere in the time. I'll try to replace de bearings and remove the blades.
I can't engage all lower gears. This weekend I'll try to follow Dave928S's post https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...ear-79-ob.html
Now I have to finish the car assembly such as headlines, bumpers, door lock, etc. A lot of work, but now I have a running car at least!
Thank you all for the help and words of encouragement!

After a little ride, I could see a serious fuel accumulator leak by the top screw.
The price for the new one is prohibitive, and I start to think on some alternatives. My first thought was bypass it, even with nome star problems, once I'm not planning to make it as a daily car. Then I realize if it's possible to adapt from some other car, like 911 Turbo.
Found a cheap used one at eBay with original fittings and built the puzzle.
Here the results:
No leaks so far... I have to test more, but happy with first results.
It uses 9/16 right fittings, didn't find this information anywhere!!!!
