Alright, now we're talkin'!!! Get to finally meet S4ordie and Polecat comin' for a visit! This should be a blast.

Been in contact with Rich this evening, he's going to put the word out to the AZ Desert Gang, so we should have a good turnout.

That would be great if you could come Erik. Cars and Coffee is in the parking lot of the shopping center on the SEC of Scottsdale Rd. & Doubletree Ranch Rd. in Scottsdale. As things start to "warm" up in AZ, the start time usually moves earlier, so I'm guessing about 7:30 am or so to get a good group spot.

Id love to get in on this, but unfortunately Sat the 4th wont work. I`ve been to the Scottsdale get together before and there are some outstanding cars. Everything from a small block ford stuffed in an Alfa Romeo to a very nice black Veyron. I have to be in Phoenix next Weds., maybe I will leave the car with Andrew and he can come visit with you guys. Have fun, take pics and give me a call if you want to come up and play on Lake Powell. Sure wish I could make it, but I'm up north trying to get the race car ready for an event at Infineon. Cars and Coffee is a great show. Hopefully, one of these GTGs can be scheduled during the nice time of the year - like in winter.

Hope it's a great success!

I'm beginning to think it's me. Before I moved to the Phoenix area I read of several "Desert Gang" GTG's. Since I've been here, not one. I thought there was a solid group of owners here in the Valley of the Sun who regularly got together to wrench, drive, wrench and oogle one another's cars. Hmmmmm, maybe they still do this but keep it on the down low to avoid my participation. Now this I would understand

Sorry, guys, I will not be able to make it. Someone inadvertently scheduled my 16th anniversary for the same day!

Sorry you can't make it Larry. Yeah, winter is a much better time, but we were getting heckled(?) by the OP for not having enough GTG's, and once Polecat said he'd come down, we HAD to have one even if it's in June. Hope you can make the next one.

Well I knew we couldn't keep hiding from you forever...

Actually I'm sorry we haven't had something sooner to welcome you to town. I think there's many reasons why we haven't had more GTG's lately, and I suspect the Phoenix economy is part of it (I know it has been for me anyway). Really looking forward to meeting you Dan, and hopefully kicking some more GTG's into gear.

Sorry we'll miss you too Erik, although I personally think it would be a great anniversary gift to take a trip to Phoenix... in June...

I will be in Chandler and Scottsdale this June for my sisters wedding. Unfortunately I won't be driving either of the Porsches up there. They would surly break down after a few hundred miles anywho!

If you happen to be in town next Saturday, come on out anyway and see some fantastic cars at Cars and Coffee in Scottsdale. You don't have to have your Porsche with you to appreciate the other cars!
