Default Window switch difficult contact

OK I know this is has been covered many times before, but the search function does not work well for me.

One of my window switches is difficult to get the contacts to work. Please link me to "How to pop off and clean w/ pencil eraser R&R" type thread.

Thanks in advance.

It works fine.

Click on the 'Search' link at the top of the forum, then select the 'Advanced Search' link.

Enter 'window' switch' with quotes in the 'Keyword(s)' box.

Under that box select 'Search Titles Only'

On the right side 'Search in Forum(s)' listing of forums, click (once) on '928 Forum'.

Scroll down and click the 'Search Now' button.

Check and make sure the trim isn't cracked.

And careful taking the switch apart! Don't lose anything!

Had that problem with a brand new switch. Filed down the plastic stop. Now works great.

You could just update to the new style switches and save yourself some future headaches (shameless plug)
