Is your screen name from the commercial where the kid says he has 300 teeth?

Nah, it's in reference to the number of teeth in a great white shark's mouth. It's also roughly the number of times I will be bit by my shark --I'm well on my way to that number.

Would like to know if anyone else has pics of this car's interior. I wasn't sure I'd like a white interior, but it works amazingly with the exterior color on this GTS.

Was the carpet Linen?

That's what I had in my Meteor Grey 928 long ago.
I have a new full carpet kit for it.... if anyone is interested.

It's a 93 GTS in polar silver with classic grey interior and light grey seats and carpet. It has manual transmission, and 90+k miles. From what I understand it's in very good mechanical condition, with a lot of work done on it in recent years.

The seller just got it, but regrets buying one without rub strips. Hard to believe, but that's the truth. He is a perfectionist, and this little "shortcoming" (in his eyes) bugs the heck out of him. I suggested he should detail the interior and see, if he can get used to the no rub strip look in the meantime.

It's a gorgeous car; many would love to have one that nice!

Your S4 was not meteor grey - they didn't even offer that color on the S4.

I remember following you in that car, and I can certify it was granite green. If I remember correctly, your interior had at least some greygreen in it.

Adding them without drilling holes would be one option. But it may not satisfy the desire of a perfectionist.

The seats and carpet are not white, they are Porsche "light grey". Sure, one could argue it's some sort of off-white, But I would consider that quite a stretch.

You mean something like this minus the root wood? Photographs white, but actually light light Grey in bottom pic.

More pics of the car over in the SITP 2011 thread.

I think it looks gorgeous without the strips, Somewhere someone is re-painting a shark at least in part to get rid of those strips. It would be a shame to muck this one up by adding them IMO. Steve, maybe you can find that guy and do a swap.
