^^^Agreed. I think I have something like 13 contacts on my NC OC email list. That's all over NC. I know that there are at LEAST 30 cars in just the Raleigh area. Charlotte is pretty similar.

You gotta do it! But there are much better roads than the I-XX's, esp if you are coming from the western part of the state. Love Staunton btw, it's not far from here, beautiful area.
And PM'd Barry already to get my name on the list- I think more than a few VA drivers might be interested in this.

Yes, I imagine there are a lot more than I have found... but since you can't use RL Search for locations & folks that don't put it down -I find what I can, when I can.

No probemo... I had put the '(RDU)' as the nearest metropolitan area to Zebulon, in case folks wondered. As far as David is concerned, his user location does say Lillington, NC -so it will be up to him to add his location to the contact list. And, I'm not in Charlotte either.

I think Jon B. had originally wanted a set, central location for a regular monthly meet... and Asheboro was chosen for the 1st meet. I think 3 showed up. So, in reality, perhaps a rotation of sites would be in order to accomodate those that don't want to drive 2-3 hours to grab lunch -and back. It will be his call. I'm just compiling a list this weekend for those that want to be contacted outside of RL -in his absence.

Actually it was just two of us. I hope that you guys can come up with some good ideas. I also think that a "roving" monthly GTG would work. It's tough with the state being as large as it is, to not have some drive time.

i would love to do a get together, but asheboro was about a 3-3.5 hour drive one way, so it would be out for me to do often, once in a while it would be nice to visit my friends in the raleigh area and spend the weekend there and hang out with you guys in person for a few hours...

once the weather cools in the fall and I don't have to worry so much we could do gtg at my place... I definitely enough room... and we could do some pretty cool country roads maybe bbq?

Yep, Jerry is also a 928 OC Charter member. His GT is very nice. I'm surprised he isn't taking his car. You guys should see some good ones there.
