I am going for it at a price of $60. However, if a 1'x'4' would cover it, I'll do it at half the price!

EDITED: I forgot the rear AC trim
Unless you have applied it before. Get extra. Also apply it to something to practice with the same lines and curves.
Inquire about the prep materials and any adhesives needed. Many applications advise against using an adhesive. Some adhesives are supposed to leave little residue when its removed.
I already have Paul's cf switches , and I'm torn between making cf molds or wrapping parts of the interior.
I'm wrapping the car in matte black and will probably do the OB too since I can't afford a really nice paint job.

I stopped worrying about what Porsche would/wouldn't have done a long time ago. That line of thinking would not have produced the variety of supercharger/turbocharger installations, sharktuner, carputer, porkensioner, or any of the other fantastic products that have benefited our community. If all I had to support my vehicle were the items still available from Porsche, I would have sold my car a long time ago. You can continue to drive around on your 50 series 15"/16" tires listening to your cassettes if that is your thing. The rest of the world has moved on to better things.

According to 3M, use of 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water to clean, followed up with 3M Primer 94 to prep the surface yields the best results for adhesion.

I know how you feel about paint. I have a light oxidation on the roof that goes away when I use Meguiar's Showcar glaze and follow up with wax. However, it comes back a week later which tells me that the clearcoat over the non-factory guards red respray done has failed.

cpayne, Just unrolling a tape measure out 4-feet tells me that it may be enough to do it those pieces. I think I will more than likely take your advice though and go the $60 route.

I'd LOVE to put a 998 (the upcoming new 911) interior and PDK tranny in a 928! That is all that would have to be done to make the cars as modern inside as they are out...oh, and the PDK would just make them faster and funner!

Modernization for me would be TecGT engine management, and a Racepak IQ3 for instruments. Of course let's not forget a touch of CF and some seats that support racing harnesses.

No Bill. I don't think many here were old enough to remember wide ties. Let alone having been old enough to be required to wear them.

Actually, I was hoping that someone would provide me a few so that I could wrap them and then send them to you, Rob E, And Greg N for Xmas presents.

Hi guys!

Just present your Rennlist member card, and Steve will cut down a 10% discount on your carbon-look 928 covering session

Should I mention it's his own shark on the leaflet?

Cheers,

Michel

Think I could get him to fly over to do a quick covering job on my splitter?! LOL! Love the look actually but would need to see the whole thing to be sure...
