Ah! James, I would have jumped on it, if only you had wanted flat.
You see, I don't do shiny

No, it has the same texture as the plastic used for the switch panels in the armrests and the components found on the center console.

Default Glovebox 928

Here are some pictures of a glovebox for the 928 done in CA-421 which is the black. I had my brother manage the heat gun as I stretched it around the corners. I took the brown leather it had off before I applied it. Pleased with the result.

Nice job on that. Does anyone know if this material tends to shrink much in car cabin conditions?

If applied correctly, it doesn't

I may add this to some (not all) of my interior bits to complement my new shifter handle.

From the vendor: "3M™ DI-NOC™ is a high-end vinyl from 3M™ from their Architectural Finishes series. The vinyl can be installed on all sorts of surfaces, regardless of the curvature. This means there are an unlimited amount of applications, from the interior of your car to the back of your laptop.

The CA-421 (black) model that we sell gives a dry carbon look, though it's available in 7 different colors. Contrary to initial belief, carbon fiber DI-NOC™ is not just a printed carbon fiber pattern, but in fact has a three-dimensional texture to it. This allows it to reflect light the same way that real carbon fiber would, making it the best real-world alternative to carbon fiber."

Can someone tell me how to take out my AC and Central Warning assembly? It is not coming out and I have wrap ready to go on.

This video shows a number of different applications for the Di Noc vinyl covering...I'm sure it's harder than they make it look - but I do think it has potential for dressing up the 928.

On a side note I got mine for carbon fiber gear for $6+ a sq foot Paul is offering it at a third less. You will want to def use primer on all edges. From my experience it peels if you do not. I was planning on doing other items today but got super sick more pics later.

Blah I got held up with my Central Indicator today with a cracked circuit board. I should be putting pix up of my final product after I get my replacement CF wrapped tomorrow.

I am done with my wraps for the console for now. I was very conservative with the wrap. Pics to follow and I still have to do the door vent trims and rear AC. I will need another 1' x 4' of CA-421 to complete.
