Default Spring is approaching But....(long)

Hey everyone spring is approaching
but when I parked my car back in Nov. I had the ol disappearing coolant issue. I am not sure if its actually going into the oil or not. Back in Nov I opened the oil filler before taking out the car one last run before parking it, Was a mess inside there with a sludgy whitish substance. That Concerned me so I did not go for that last ride of the season. Reading some past posts now it seems that whitish stuff could have been just condensation. The oil on the dipstick is clean with no sign of water/coolant back then and I just went out and checked it again today after it sitting all these months the oil on the stick is still clean. But inside the filler there is still abit of thicker brownish stuff at the bottom of it. The car does have a small headgasket leak on drivers side( oil seepage) (reported a few years ago and verified by a Porsche mech..(I have the records )). I am still concerned if my coolant is going into the oil filler or is it just leaking out and just have to find the source of the leak.
If the head gasket is completely finished would that allow coolant to pass into the oil filler?
The last questions...to rectify this I assume I need to do a complete cooling pressure test first? Is it ok to start the car and bring everything up to normal operating temps to burn off the condensation if any?

Car is an 84' S with TB/WP done July last year.
Thanks
Chris

Checking the oil after a long down time will not show whether there is coolant in the oil. The coolant will separate and settle in the lowest points in the system. If the oil level is higher than it should be, you might have a problem.

If you do have coolant in the oil, and also have oil in the coolant, the first suspect is the oil cooler in the radiator side tank.

If the oil level is not higher than it should be, I think that it should be OK to run the engine and try to determine if you have a problem, and if so, what it is.
