Thanks Merlin,

Unfortunately I had a link that took me to the presentation and not the entire rennlist post so I did not see the follow on comment.

I had not put anything togather yet as the write up pic did not match the WSM or what I found when I took it apart so having seen some of the other PO's work I could not trust the way i found it to be the definitive way to put it back togather.

Here's the original thread about this. Tony is aware of the error in his otherwise excellent shock replacement guide.

I absolutely want to thank everyone who takes their time to document and post procedures on this site and their personal sites. Without Tony's write up I would have struggled to even get to the point of confusion over the washer arrangement.

Got it back togather last night very quickly. Reviewing photos I had taken before disassembly it had been put togather correctly when last reassembled.

Now on to the other side and then adjusting the rear ride height.

I am struggling to find the hub pin and lower sway bar link bolt torques. WSM table isn't using the same terminology I do

Thnaks for all the help!!!!

Jim, I used 104 ft-lbs for the big bolts at each end of the pin, and 34 for the lower sway bar. Congrats, sounds like you're just about there!

Thanks Tom.

I went back and forth from the torque table descriptions to the rear shock and suspension assembly diagram in the WSM and could never connect part terminology from one table to the other.

Am I an idiot or do other folks run into the same issues? Don't worry about answering the first part of this question as I know the answer!!

One of the guys did a super-duper torque chart, maybe Rob Edwards? I have an Excel version, I'll print a hard copy and bring it to lunch tomorrow in exchange for a couple of Blake's french fries ;-)
