Oh, and yes, I do have a 914-8 but it's all Porsche all the time. I can't think of many engine swaps that actually add value to a car except this one. Most are cute but cut the value of the car in half. Like a chevy in a 928. Sure there are a few that have brought some real money but most are just a novelty.

ACTUALLY the Contour engine is not a Mustang variant but a Porsche one. It was developped for the Boxter and when they decided to use a smaller version of the 996 engine, Porsche sold the engine design to Ford.
