Wayne,

Just saw this thread for the first time. Looks like you were looking at the engine I bought in mid April back in late Feb. So far everything looks good on the engine, and I may be cranking it up for the first time tonight. I paid 2800 which I thought was fair for a 59k engine. I carfaxed the VIN and couldn't completely verify the mileage but it did show that it was a low mileage car 7 or 8 years earlier, so 59k was believable. There is a 90 day warranty, but of course it would cost me $300 or so to ship it back and lots of labor. Anyway, looks like it's going to work out.

I haven't torn down my old engine yet, but will be interesting to see if my block is cracked too.
