Dash Pad Covers
I've got the usual cracks in my pod and some uplift in my dash as well as leather shrinkage.
Looking at my alternatives:
Paul Champagne looks great -- but I have to do the install and we're talking $1000 on a $4500 car.
Here are two ebay alternatives:
http://http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotor...ht_4877wt_1167
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PORSC...#ht_500wt_1182
Anyone have experience with these or alternatives they were satisfied with?
thanks,
Mike

Just say no to the dash/pod plastic cap! They warp pretty easy here in the heat, and require you to remove the dash from the car to install correctly.
Your choices are:
1. New (from Paul or Robert Budd)
2. Live with it
3. Fix with bondo (do search for dash repair)
4. carpet/velor dash cover (not a great solution, but can tide you over till you get it fixed.)
