1987 Blk S4 5 spd - Hooking up radio
Background:
When I bought the car, the PO said he had never used the radio much. It is a Blaupunkt RPD 8000. I found one manual online when and I could only
get it to pick the same one FM station 1590, on my entire trek from Seattle to Virginia.
Jadz928 took the 3rd party PITA alarm out for me (Thanks Jim). I went to try and hook the thing back up and noticed an orange wire (The photo was before the Alarm removal.) The wire appears to come from the back of the radio and is now hanging there. The radio manual does not mention an orange wire. I'm assuming here that the picture shows an incorrect way to jack power.
I would like to get the radio to work while I save and wait for the carputer to be finished. I figure, if I can listen to some soothing music, it may drown out the wonderful sound of the RMB, which is going to get me into trouble with the law.

Orange does not appear to be a standard color for anything but illumination. It could be that that wire is used for illumination on your radio....
Fuse 22 on your car is the fuse for the factory audio amplifier that, originally, at least, was mounted under the cover on the right side of the passenger seat.
