Got it out after a long winter's nap today.

I probably owe Jim Bailey a beer.

Hooked up the battery, turned the key to on and checked warning lights. Looked normal, so hit the starter. Cranked briskly...

And that's all. No 'fire', no 'sputter', no 'cough.' No nothing.

Oh crap.

Hooked up noid light to FI plug, timing light to plug wire, cranked it again. Nothing.

Heard this little voice in the back of my head, saying "Relay, relay, relay."

Swapped out the LH & EZF relays.

Fired right up.
Video of my 'happy dance' will not be released.

Edit to add:

One odd thing - While cranking without success, the tach needle would go all the way over & peg high (7k+). As I cranked, it would drop some, but not below redline.
I know to look for 'tach bounce' to see if CPS is working, but I had never seen or heard of this sort of behavior before.

Not today, but in the last week:
- Removed everything for your standard timing belt and water pump job.
- Decided to do the main crank seal.
- Pulled the oil pump for all new seals.
- Cleaned, cleaned, cleaned.
- Cleaned, cleaned, cleaned.
- Did I mention cleaned everything down there?

I sourced a new (to me) radiator for my car, replacing the one that was upside down in the car when I received it.

I also found a tool tray and a passenger side under-dash tray from the same parts car.

First time started up after winter sleep. Did my usual wake up routine, but also put in a new oxygen sensor.
Runs well on the road, but barely holds idle in neutral and stalls under load.
Work is on the horizon.
In process of turning car over to my Son.

After getting it out of storage & home last week, it sat until today.

I had done the shocks and needed to get the ride height correct at the back, settle the front end and get the ride height set on the front, then check the alignment.

Rear height was dead on. alignment was too. 170/173 & 1/64th toe in on the back, 165/170 & less than 1/32 toe in on the front.

No clue at all how I managed to pull that off.

Put some mesh in the front of the intake tubes. Want to keep the critters out.
