Alan's Electrical Primer
http://www.928-electrics.com/
This is very good, I have been trying to learn more about how the factory arranged the wiring diagrams for the last few weeks. Some of the things in his primer are just fantastic. The Porsche training manuals on Jims CD's do not go far enough to really get to the level I needed to be as far as how long it took to find things, like what J9 means and where to find the other end of the wire on the diagrams. Plus many others. It looks like his complete set, the Porsche 928 Electrics is going to be every bit as needed as Jims CD's, and from what I see in the Free Primer, the 55 bucks for it are going to be a steal. You have done us all a huge Favor Alan, and not just from the help you have given so many of us one at a time. Thanks for all your help. |
Second that, and any ideas Alan when it might be done?

He was most helpful when I needed to build a custom harness to hook up my power sport seats. I couldn't have done it without him. |
whollychit, there's a 928 related URL that Carl doesn't have?

When I first bought and started working on my car it stopped running because of an electrical problem and Alan was one of the people on this forum that help me get it running again. He was very helpful in trouble shooting my LH
I am sure whatever he puts together will be well worth having. Cheers Matt |
