The empty sockets are supposed to be empty for '82.

You're probably going to spend the next few weeks/months sorting out the neglect. Most 928's would behave almost perfectly if we just cleaned everything. Grounds, connections, sensors, relays, basic stuff really that's just sat and failed from disuse. Most of us have a collection of relays, jumpers, and tricks to get home when the common bugs show up... but fresh parts, diligently maintained, and driven hard often keeps these beasts on the road. Good luck with the project(s), you're gonna love that day when you jump in, everything works, and the full BWAAHHHH is with you.

Sounds hopeless, sell and buy a 928.

Or put some washer fluid in and look for where it comes out, good chance that is the broken or disconnected washer line.

I'd been browsing the older 6 series cars myself when I picked up my 928 a few weeks back. You clearly have great taste in cars!

I really need to get some work done on my car. Thanks for the inspiration!

Congratulations on your purchase.
I stopped working on my CSI possibly forever after driving the 928!
I have a 1982 with all the relays if you need a part number or something.
