$5 still seems like a lot, but it's a good price.

Thanks for the tip.

That is a good price...while Wal-Mart may have it for that price, they RARELY even have it around here!

Also, are these oil & filter deals at Autozone come with Porsche 928 type oil filters? Am I missing something here ? Our Wally World used to carry Mobil 1, 15-50, but not anymore, and they could not give me a reason why. I now have to go to O'Reilly's for the Mobile 1, 15-50 weight and it's now at $ 4.99 a quart. T
Yah I know. I just figure for the $1.00 if you don't have time to get there now, not so bad. The stuff Glen posted is a heck of deal!

Every few weeks, it seems. Please reflect on my reflection. I still find $5 quarts to be high even if it is a sale. O'Reilly was running a 5qt plus filter special on their house brand a while back. I recall $20 for that. Good for the wife's Mercury.

Got 22 quarts over the weekend. Only 10 15w50 in the place. Thx!

You're lucky to find the 13-50 weight, only place around here that has it is Wal Mart, to my knowledge. All the conventional parts places now max out at 40W ...

A local chain up here in Canada has it on sale as well this week, but I also have found a supplier local for Brad Penn Racing oil, which I can get 12L of the 20w50 for the same price as 8.8L of the Mobil 1 15w50 on sale.

OK so lets start another oil debate! Do I use Brad Penn or Mobil 1 considering the price differential?
