Well, we have gotten the fire wall piece in, the pedals, and master cylinder in, not a big job, just takes a lot of time.

I still have to install the SuperBearings and I am waiting on the flywheel to get done, but maybe next week I will have a non auto 87.

My friend Jack asked my how much more the car would be worth with a 5 speed, I never really thought about it, but my guess is zero because it is a conversion, not that it matters.

List of things left after this to get the car the way I see it in my mind.

Paul C interior
H4 conversion

I think this one will be done at that point, all the mods will be done, the 20 year stuff is done, just shine and drive.

The pedals, and factory master are IMHO the worst part of this whole job. So much so that when I just did my conversion I went with a wilwood floor mount system. I personally prefer the floor mount setup to the factory setup though.

It really was not that bad, just takes time.
I just do not understand why folks cut holes in cars to do a clutch master cylinder.
We will take it back out to bench bleed it when we get every thing hooked up, not that big a deal.

The tricky part was cutting the hole in the fire wall and making it look factory.

I should have a flywheel with 60-2 teeth for you by morning, or you could say 'next year'.
The ring is machined, dowel hole drilled and it's to the assembly fixture next.

Are you going stock dual disc? Aluminium single? Or Mike's work of art with the tilton setup?

I am going to do a progression, stock DD first, then I am going to talk to mike about a AL stock replacement, then a full Tilton set up.

Mainly so I can tell folks that want me to do this kind of work what I think of them.

Any photos you can share on how you did the conversion of the pedals? I was looking at doing a Wilwood hanging clutch pedal with cylinder and leaving the 928 stock linkage with 5 speed brake pedal....

To do the floor pedal set up you do not need the bracket set up like the original 5 speed set up? DO you have any pictures of this?
