Default FS: **SOLD!** Set of Porsche 18" Carrera III 18X10 & 18x8 $1000 +shipping - LIKE NEW

Edit: Wheels are SOLD!

I thought I had posted this on the 928 Forum, but apparently not! Please see my Rennlist Ad, linked below, for more pictures if interested. High resolution pictures also available.

https://rennlist.com/forums/for-sale...-like-new.html

These were purchased new by Brian Fleming (previous owner of the silver car).

Complete set of 18" Carrera III Wheels: two 18X10 rears and two 18x8 fronts.

I believe these are made for 2005-ish 997's, for Porsche by BBS

Valve stems installed and included.
No center caps.

------------- Two Rear Wheels:

Like New condition - no dings or scratches.

18" X 10" - 58MM offset

Fronts of rims contain raised factory lettering indicating "10" and "58"

Rear of spokes contain factory lettering as follows:
"10Jx18H2-ET58"
"BBS"
"997.362.140.01"

------------- Two Front Wheels:

Some minor curb rash near lug nut area - not noticeable unless up close.

18" X 8"

Fronts of rims contain raised factory lettering indicating "8" and "57"

Rear of spokes contain factory lettering as follows:
"8Jx18H2-ET37" (Edit: ET is 57 not 37, this is a known BBS error, see postings on page 2)
"BBS"
"997.362.136.00"

Agree with Jim, that is a pretty decent deal right there. They won't last long!

Carlos, were you at OCIC with the silver car in '09? I remember the car for sure, I think we talked about your trip in from FL in the car.

Muussst resistttttt.

Been kicking around the idea of picking up a set of these or the visually similar 19" Carrera Classics. GLWS!

Ask Chris about 19" wheels on S4's...he had them but maybe it is just the road in CA, but he didn't care for them. Now he has my 17" FM10's and is in love! I think 18" is probably the perfect sporty yet reasonably comfortable compromise. Plus even GTS brakes will look small behind 19" wheels!

Get them Jarrod, you KNOW YOU NEED THEM! Heck, it's Christmas time...just look at it as a present to yourself, you know NO ONE ELSE is going to get you anything that nice! ;->

BTW, there is a set of these in the D/FW area that are probably a little more scuffed up (but probably not much) that have tires mounted (though the fronts are probably only 30% remain, 50% left on rears) that you can probably get for about the same money and then you could drive down for a GTG and not have to pay shipping either... Just a thought!

Yep... perfect fittment for the 928. Won't last long. Since the knock-off manufacturer seems to be out of business, if you;re looking for a set, here' a chance for authentic Original Porsche Carerra III's.

GLWS.

Who remembers the days when 911 take-offs didn't fit our cars?

My new/old Panamera take-offs will be delivered on the 24th. "Merry Christmas to me..."

These'll work great with a 235 width tire and be tight with a 245 in front. Rears 265 and 275 tight.

Our cars look damn pretty with these, too.

Interesting, AO.
I didn't even know reps were available in this style.

Any way you cut the coin, reps range from $500-1000/set. OE usually commands more.

I picked up a OE set of these for $1K w/center caps, new Pole Postions, SHIPPED... but I got a screamin' deal.

About a year maybe two ago, you could pick up a set of replicas for about $600 on ebay. They also had Carerra Classics (slightly thicker spoke) in 19", but tires selection isn't there on the 19", so I would recommend getting these.

BTW, You should be able to put a 285 tire on these and bolt them right up.

These 18x10's bolt right on to S4's without spacers (I guess GT's would be the same). My '87 S4.

Hold out for the 19's Jarrod

I do like the look of the 18's as well, very similar, but prefer the design curve and flow of the 19 better.

Have not had any problems with tire selection for the 19's...
