No specific knowledge of it personally.
You are a 997 guy, so be sure to get a 928 pro to check it out for you.
928 Automatic / later years like this especially / needs to have a crankshaft endplay measurement recorded.

Actually , have owned 928's for over 20 yrs. Currently 88 S4. 997 for 3 yrs. I will always own a 928.
I have been looking for a GTS for a long time.
This one looks like it may have been painted.
I guess a phone call will be made.

Steen,
Don't know this car, but it has the same miles as my '94 when I bought mine 13 years ago and looks to be about the same EXCELLENT condition (though I like the deviated piping on the seats...mine does not have that) and the price is almost identical to what mine cost me 13 years ago too. Very interesting! Looks like a great car!

The car looks nice, and the price is not out of line for a such low mileage example.
You may want to do a search for Daniel Schmitt here on this board. Then make a decision on whether you want to get a PPI done.

Thats a perfect GTS for a chevy conversion.
All kidding aside, I think the price is good if it has a recent timing belt job done, one that has been done a couple years ago. His asking premium for it.
And what is all this about:
"EXTREMELY RARE: 1 OF ONLY 93 AUTOMATICS BUILT FOR THE U.S. MARKET IN 1994! "
Im pretty sure there were several automatic 93 models sold as 94, and if this is one of them, that means it has the weak 1R rods that bend or break, probably one reason why 93 models go for less compared to a real 94 model years. There has been a few 93 models going for $23,000 to $30,000.
If you want a 94, try to buy one of the last ones.

From the pictures, there is not a lot of paperwork shown. People usually show off a pile of service ducuments. Hopefully they have all the papers but just not shown.

I thought the ad read as the number of GTS's for that year of production for the US market?
