Anyone using 928 Motorsports upper control arm?
My upper control arms on my 87 S4 driver are in bad shape. I see 928 motorsports offers their own upper control arm. Seems like a good alternative to a remanufactured set. Anyone done some long term testing with these?

No, but for $80 I did the upper polyurethane bushings. They keep it tight and seem ok. I did have some squeaking, but I added some grease fittings to each and they have not been an issue lately.

I have a set on my 89. I now have about 5-600 miles on them. They seem to be working fine. My only complaint is for the first few hundred miles they squeaked, but stopped after that. But that might have been my fault, I greased them as I installed them, but maybe I didn't grease them enough. Also I had to buy a new grease gun, the zerts are placed such that I needed a flexible gun.

I just got the 928 Motorsports control arms and one of the a-arms move freely while the other one does not. Did anyone else's parts arrive like this? In order for me to move the a-arm up and down I have to use a set of pliers to get enough leverage and even than it feels like something is binding inside. The other works the way its suppose to with a nice free motion. I tried greasing them but something is binding inside the other one. hmmmm

Here is a youtube video to help explain. As you can see in the video the up and down motion on the first a-arm is smooth while the other one I cannot budge with my hands. I know this isn't right but maybe there's a quick fix?

Race "inspired" pieces don't usually work for the average street car.

Quality control slipped up somewhere.

Got a customer complaining about one of these. I refuse to touch it unless it's replaced by one from International.
