Default I need a tail-light socket for an S4

Today I looked into the recurring tail-light warning I keep getting on the dash. Pulled both tail-light units and changed all the bulbs while I was at it. I found one socket had a broken electrical contact inside its base.

So if anyone has a broken/busted up S4 tail-light unit that they could cut the red socket from (along with enough of the wire so I can splice it), I would be happy to purchase it from you. I don't need a whole tail-light unit, as mine is fine except for the socket in the following pictures.

Thanks, Rich

Rich--

There have been a few threads about a Mercury/Nissan minivan socket that's a fit with the tiniest but of razor-knife whittling on one of the ears. Search may be your friend on this. I was thinking about sub'ing in one of those sockets to replicate the rear foglight function too. Socket in the postings has a NAPA part on it, so add NAPA to your sarch and you should be good.

EDIT:

Or you can simply solder the wires to the bulb... not that I would ever do such a thing

Send me an address. I'll cut one off and mail it to you. The sockets aren't available individually and 928 Int. doesn't have any used harnesses so i just had to buy a new one and I don't need all the spare sockets.. No charge just pass it on.
