I can't tell if they have been made wider, but if not that would kind of suck...

does fiberglass have that much more weight savings over aluminum..?

Miggt be heavier depending how they are made. Easier to repair though.

Depends on the thickness of the layup...but easy to repair and very easy to flair , mold in the headlight etc. etc....

Interesting. Can't imagine it's much of a weight savings but I've never seen a pair in FG before.

FG is generally pretty heavy.

Wonder if somebody just used aluminum fender with a layer of wax paper or similar as a mold.

If any of you are interesed in these fenders, I can get my client to take a look at them for you (924 guy) as he lives right near there (20 minutes)... Myself I am about 2.5 hrs from there, but am in albany often.

A I R has made them for years and years..they made molds off original fenders so the outside surface comes out smooth when the new part is peeled out of the mold.
