Easy 928 oil change
if you are like me... the 928 oil change is a time consuming job, considering the time it takes to change the oil in my tundra .
So....
I cut up the belly pan, and made a little window that bolts on and off, which make the oil changing much much easier and way faster!!! Took a few hours of cave time, but future changes will save up the time .
I ended up cutting about a foot square under the correct location and made little tabs that allow me to bolt and unbolt my little access window. See pictures. Pretty cool eh?

LOL, its the unicorn, or possibly a big Snuffaluffagus because people took them off to change the oil, then because its such a pain to bolt back up... most people probably say...
"Ah yeah, ill just set this over here in the corner, because I'm gonna be replacing that widget here in a week or two and ill put it back on then". Then one week turns to a month, then two, them they sell the car, only to find out 4 months later, that the belly pan was sitting in the corner under the lawn fertilizer. But hey,, they didn't want to deal with the hassle on putting it back on anyways!

BTDT when I made my own aluminium belly pan a few years ago. Does speed up the process but most valuable to those who hate haveing to undo lots of things to get to what they are after (like most things on our cars).

Cool! Any chance you could post the dimensions of the cutout panel and the distance of the cut lines from the front and rear of the pan? I would love to replicate this. (4 years and counting with never a belly pan on either car, but I have two aluminum ones to install..... )

The measurements are...
Measuring from the front of the pan, 11" on the front most cut, 20 1/2" on the rear most cut. then I cut 10 1/2"' into the pan.
I used 1/2" aluminum angle to reinforce the edge.
I used 4 steel tabs to bolt underneath and used 4 clips to bolt into.
To affix the tabs, I used 3/8 rivets.
