I think you found a great option. In a color like this (my favorite) it is hard to match the texture and color well enough that the seats will fit in and look reasonably origonal. So you kinda need to re-do everything or nothing. +1 on the color combo. Nice blue 928s are so rare and cork is pretty rare too. Together is very special.

Thanks. That's what was bugging me. My interior is not restored, it's original. The back seats are perfect but have a patina of age too. If I replaced the front seats -- they would have been beautiful -- but clearly new. I could have done all four seats but still they all would be clearly new. Plus I would have spent thousands to improve something that wasn't that bad to begin with.

I was really worried the leather could rip on this "face lift' but took a chance and it worked out well. It's funny. I would have passed on this color combination 20 years ago but it was a major factor in buying the car last year. I was in the market for a GT or GTS and found this car locally. The tasteful modifications, condition and color combo made it impossible to pass up. How many people set out to buy a GT or even a GTS and come home with an OB? Never regret the decision. Also love having collectors insurance for 250 a year and never, ever have to inspect it or register it ever again!
