Hifive........nice collection of cars!

Per my previous post my fat fingers meant to type 'Gates' for the timing belt.............thx to the Tx folks for their humour re. my indescrestion......its been a long day with more important 'remembrance' responsibilities.

Roger sells all 928 parts he can get ahold of. He even fought with Porsche for me over an oil pump gear (square tooth version, different than yours). Apparently it was 1 of 6 new ones remaining in the world . . . and they weren't keen on giving it up.

Unfortunately there are some parts you just can't get new anymore. Square toothed crank gears, for instance . . . . but hopefully some good news to come on that next week . . .

The original oil pump sprockets were aluminum, and the oem replacement was changed to a steel gear.
