That's gorgeous!

Great job!
I love the arm rests. Wished I could have made the get together, it would have been fun.
I'll be pulling a full maintenance on mine in the next month. Then it will be able to make a few meetings.

Good luck
LM

Tony,
The more I look at your car, the more I want to do.
I will be taking out the rear interior quarters to put in some new speakers. Did you put more sound deadening materials on that area?
Now, I did a search on the "Dynamat" stuffs and there are many, many brands which also claim to be the best. Of course the Dynamat brand is the most costly. How did you decide on what to get, in your case RAAMat? Does anyone else have any opinion on what brand gives the most bang for the buck?

Default New Seats

Seats came in today, and they look and feel new. They are Recaro's Sports that came out of a 08 997. We would also like to Thank Herman K for finding these seats for us. The dark grey alcantara inserts really hold you in the seat, and match up nicely with the Paul C pascha "T" handle, cargo cover, center & side armrests, etc. Steve, did a little research and the RAAMat seemed to be the way to go. MUCH better, Tony!

The only way you could top these would be to get the silver parts painted to match your exterior, and the alcantara strips replaced with Paul's pascha leather.

But that would be quite another investment, and your GTS is uniquely nice as it is.

Default Alcantara

Thanks James x 2 & Nicole. Not sure how well the lasered pascha would hold up on that big wear area on any seat. Played it a little safe by going with the alcantara centers for the following reasons 1) the grip factor, 2) they really match up nicely with the 2-tone pasha trim pieces already installed, and 3) was looking for just a little different look than the OEM stock (or sport) seats. Tony, everytime I see a post from you I drool on my keyboard. Man, that car looks nice!!!

I like Nicole's idea about the silver parts of the seats in body color! I have not seen that of late at the dealership but man about 3-5 years ago nearly every car that came through the dealer here in Austin had color matched seat backs. Looked NICE TOO!

Default Rear headliner & 3rd Brake Light

Great idea Nicole. The seat centers match up pretty nicely with the pascha armrests, etc so will be sticking with that for now. Installed the custom rear headliner (minus sunvisors) tonight with a 3rd LED brake light integrated into it. Came out great. More pics later when the interior is back together. T

Yes, I agree regarding this man's work. I'm an 87 S4 and a purist under the hood, on the outside, and inside.
I wish you all the happiness to equal your pride and enthusiasm in your project. Good job.

Now you can paint the setbacks in matching Cobalt Blue (or whatever shade you have) for a truly unique look.

I think the 997 Sport seat is one of the best looking ones out there. I actually like them better than the adaptive sport seat because the adaptive seats tend to show a lot of wear as you get in and out of them.

I'm curious to see what you did to modify the base of the seats to bolt onto the 928. This is the exact seat that I was interested in putting into a 928.
