Thomas,

I gave the owner a call and you are cleared for Sunday in the AM. I'm sending you a PM with contact info.

Thanks again,
Jon

Now come on James, you can do anything if you throw enough money at it.

In this case I don't really think so...at least not in this country by anyone on the up and up, the chemicals needed for that finish are illegal to sell, own or possess is my understanding. Of course there are other parts of the world that could care less about stuff like that...we just need to FIND THEM! LOL!

Thomas, thanks for helping Jon out! I look forward to the report on this too!

So, I'm betting it's in tip-top shape.

I need to get rid of my current car to realistically get another, so my car is already up for sale. I've already got some people interested. But if I can't get rid of it, I can't get a 928.

Oh....I like that one MUCH BETTER! You know what I always say...if you can only have ONE 928 make it an '89 IF you can't afford a GTS that is!

Be sure to get in touch with Sean and Roger about the car... I would be surprised if its owner is not here on this list at least from time to time. Love that color too BTW! Better watch out...if Elliott sees it he might steal it! While he prefers Oak Green (and a couple of others close to oak) he also likes Slate gray and it is a 5spd!

You should point him to that car actually. The car in Washington or one that is like it is more like what I will need to end up with. Plus, I kinda have a thing for the S3 cars!

Looks like Thomas got me a bunch of pictures today. To say that I'm looking forward to them is a BIG understatement. Seems the car is pretty nice.

Nice enough that I may have to fight Thomas off to buy it! Thanks again man!

Got some great photos from Thomas after looking at the car yesterday. I need to now figure out how to ship the car to my driveway and then somehow conceal the fact from my wife!

Might not be that easy considering there isn't a 928 currently in the driveway that I can fool her with.

Yea, I have the cover of a BUNCH of other 928's...LOL! You might see if you have a friend that can hide it out in their garage for you...I am doing that as well! LOL!
