Odd-one-out front lug nuts
Had too many things on to get started on the TB/WP job today, so decided just to do a bit of a general close inspection and get together a bit of a list of things to do. Amazingly, the only broken electrical things I could find were the passenger side rear view mirror (makes unhappy squealing noises but doesn't move) and the interior lights (none work, but the fuses look good - I suspect the mode switch).
One other thing that I noticed that seemed weird is that on the front wheels, there are 4 nuts that are slightly below flush, and one that is significantly longer and stands out. My first guess would be that someone damaged one at some point and just stuck on something that would fit, but it's identical on both sides.
Has anyone else seen this? It looks wrong to me, but also rather intentional ...

pictures would sure help in a diagnosis of the lugs.
For the interior lights it sounds like you would do well to remove both of the pin switches in the doors ,
Clean the contact on the back sides dont pull on them too hard as you willbreak the wire, use a pencil eraser,
the switches are 11mm.
Then check the wiring of the lights they should all be the same,
disconnect the battery first no need to fry the light harness

Yup, it's the locking lug nuts. Or rather, the lack of. From another read through the manual, it sounds like there should be plastic caps over the ends when the locks are removed, but these seem to be missing. I can't find the locks either, though loose odds and end keep turning up when I rummage through the various storage areas

If you think you might find the wheel locks, I'd also keep an eye out for 4 more lug nuts. I know mine came with 4 extra lug nuts of the same style (in case you didn't wan to use the wheel locks)

Picture of my front wheel showing the long locking lug nut without the plastic locking cap.

those are trash, remove them ASAP,
and buy either new lugs or the new updated Porsche locking lug.
Use antiseize on the studs

either the corrosion on the external cap, ( not pictured on this posted picture) prevents the cap from locking or unlocking ( removal/installation)
or the part showing can spin off ( shear off) leaving a collar thats screwed into the wheel collet. seen this a few times..
Or a lost key or sheared off key due to a corroded key slot
new style on Ebay
