I am putting my car back together after the repaint. These two clamps were in a bag along with the front "S" spoiler hardware. What the heck are they? I don't recall where they came from. Any ideas?

I seem to recall something like those plates under the guard/fender , related to holding the front splash guard up to the end of the spoiler, where it goes up the wheel arch. When I put new spalsh gaurds on I couldnt find a use for them, and left them off.
