Default CL: 89GT 90K Miles -- $16K

http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac...987263709.html

Saw this on CL this morning, and thought it was a nice color combo. Is this a fair price for a GT with 90K miles if everything on the listing were to check out?

And of course...I am not affiliated with this CL listing....

Everything was reading well until Auto transmission - not the ultra rare 89 GT. It's an S4.

You're harsh Ryan. They nice fella made it clear he didn't know all 89 GTs are manuals. Take a pill, man.

aaddpp, if it makes you feel any better, my kids chased after a 89 GT last winter. Holy grail.

Money in hand (full $5000 asking price) , middle, northernmost part of North Dakota, middle of the night in a barn ---- they found an 87 924.

The lady owner thought it was a 928 and got the year wrong too.

better luck next time Dave

I just don't understand why people post cars for sale anymore.

Either
a) they are too expensive and people rip them
b) complete wrecks and people rip them
c) a great deal in which people rip them because they are so cheap there must be something wrong.

Who cares if there is a S4 on auto trader or a 86 on Ebay. If someones looking for a car, im sure they are aware. This is a technical forum afterall is it not? Lets stick to why doesn't my car idle or even god forbid, "Will these wheels fit?"

Some of the most revealing technical and commercial discussions are seeded from these posts.

Keep it up.

Don't apologize for anything.

Ryan doesn't set the agenda here. Nor the tone.

No he doesn't...but he sure is consistent. I know there is however a '90 5spd 928 Gt with 90k miles for sale on the other side of the country.
